Last to Lease, First Watch Finds Home in Chamblee's New Peachtree Station
A representative of S.J. Collins Enterprises, the development firm behind the upcoming Peachtree Station project, confirmed to ToNeTo Atlanta earlier today that the space previously leased to YEAH! Burger will instead open as First Watch, a breakfast restaurant. Last week, when ToNeTo Atlanta exclusively released the opening date for the center's anchor, Whole Foods Market, we also confirmed that YEAH! Burger was no longer part of the project. Rumors of First Watch replacing them had swirled for months, but due to unspecified "confidentiality issues," the firm delayed confirming the breakfast eatery's participation in the project until today.

Bradenton, Florida-based First Watch has expanded its Georgia footprint since entering the market in 2013. First Watch purchased two (corporately owned) J. Christopher's restaurants (Johns Creek and Smyrna) in late 2012, and reopened them as First Watch in January 2013. Today, First Watch operates eight locations in Georgia including Kennesaw, Snellville, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Dunwoody, and their most recent opening at Fuqua Development's Decatur Marketplace near Decatur.
Contacted via their Facebook page last week, First Watch indicates they plan to be open in Chamblee by February 2018.
In Chamblee, First Watch will provide the area with a quality breakfast option where currently there is only a Waffle House. In nearby Brookhaven, three Atlanta-based breakfast joints operate existing locations: J. Christopher's on Dresden Drive, Flying Biscuit Cafe in TOWN Brookhaven, and another Waffle House near the Brookhaven MARTA station.
As ToNeTo Atlanta reported last week, Whole Foods Market plans to open their store in Peachtree Station Friday August 18th. When they open, Whole Foods Market will join junior anchor The Cook's Warehouse in the new project. S.J. Collins reports that the center is now "fully leased."
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Zoës Kitchen, Taqueria Del Sol, T-Mobile, Mattress Firm, Banfield Pet Hospital, Club Pilates, and Dentists of Chamblee have all opened in the project, and will be joined by a number of new tenants in the coming weeks and months.
Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa expects to open Monday, August 7. Other upcoming Peachtree Station tenants include CRS Outdoor, a new retailer described as being similar to Mountain High Outfitters and RAK Outfitters, Great Clips, Menchies, Tokyo Belly (from the owners of The One Sushi +, Katana, and most recently Monkey 68), Verizon, Luxury Nails, First Look MRI, Think Chiropractic, AFC Urgent Care, Carriage Cleaners, Pearle Vision, deka lash, bare wax and Hollywood Feed, a boutique pet [exclusively dog & cat] store.
